Day by Day Coverage: Day 5 - Santa Maria to Lompoc

Dear ones, I am so sorry that I don’t have many stories from the road to share today, but I scurried ahead to lovely Lompoc. Since the cyclists have a short day today, I thought they might like to indulge in some of the delights this lovely burg has to offer.

We offered them this handy guide, plus the bus routes, at Info Services the previous night and at Bike Parking when they got to camp at River Park. It was a quick route, unless they decided to take a soak at the Hot Springs.

  $7 for adults, $5 for Seniors, and all shows before 5:30 are $5.
• Ocean Lanes and Entertainment (Bowling) - 2 –10pm
• Anderson Recreation Center (Free Table Tennis) - 9am – 8 pm
• Majestic Nail (for manicures)
• Discover Llamas in Llompoc! Llama Tours!
• Llama Memories Gift Shop and Ranch

Since it’s also Red Dress Day on the ride, I’m picturing your loved ones in their glamorous garb lined up to have their nails done and riding sidesaddle on the llamas. I’ll let you know how close that image comes……
